SPX / Johnson Pump Aqua Jet WPS 2.9 pressure water pump – 12 volts
The pumps in the Aqua Jet WPS series are equipped with 5 chambers as standard and are suitable for water pressure systems in small boats and recreational vehicles.
Compared to conventional 3- and 4-chamber diaphragm pumps, this series produces significantly less noise. The water jet is constant and pulsations have been reduced to a minimum. These developments make this water pressure system more attractive than conventional pumps.
Working principle
As soon as the pump starts running, pressure builds up to 2.8 bar/41 psi. At this point, the integrated pressure switch automatically switches off the pump. The pump is equipped with positive check valves, which ensure that the pressure is maintained after the pump is switched off. When water is needed (at the tap, shower, etc.), the pressure drops. After a moderate drop in pressure, the integrated pressure switch automatically switches the pump back on.

Note: Please note that the maximum temperature of the liquid must not exceed 50°C.
Recommendation: Install the WPS pumps with an expansion tank as a buffer storage tank and always install a PUMProtector inlet strainer upstream of the pump inlet.
On request: This pump is also available with a shut-off pressure of 2.1 bar / 30 psi or 1.4 bar / 20 psi. All WPS pumps with NPT connection are also available on request.
